The first products have officially risen from the grave and arrived at our warehouse!
We're talking about the "Leak? Hell no!" acrylic pins and the Resurrection Roll, featuring the names of everyone who helped bring this project back to life. (It may not be obvious from the photo, but it's actually printed on both sides... after all, there are quite a lot of you!)
As for mass production, we're almost done reviewing the digital print proofs for all the products. Once that's complete, we'll move on to the blank samples, which we specifically requested from the manufacturer.
So, what are blank samples?
They're fully assembled production samples printed without any artwork (just plain white boxes, maps, character sheets, and other components). Why go through this extra step? Because one of the most critical aspects of producing VHS is making sure everything fits perfectly.
With all the additional content unlocked through the Stretch Goals, we want to be absolutely certain that every component fits comfortably inside the box and, most importantly, integrates perfectly with the VCR inserts.
Requesting these samples may add a little extra time to production, but from our experience with projects like this, we'd much rather invest that time now than run into unpleasant surprises later. Our goal is to deliver the best possible final product.

I primi prodotti, freschi di sepolcro, sono arrivati nel nostro magazzino: si tratta delle spille in acrilico "Leak? Hell no!" e del Resurrection Roll, con sopra presenti tutti i nomi di voi che avete reso possibile questo progetto (anche se dalla foto potrebbe non notarsi, si tratta di una stampa fronte/retro... dopotutto siete parecchi!)
Riguardo alla produzione di massa invece, abbiamo quasi finito di ricevere le prove di stampa digitali dei prodotti, alle quali seguiranno delle "prove bianche" che abbiamo espressamente richiesto.
Cosa sono le prove bianche?
In pratica si tratta del prodotto finito ma senza colori, quindi come suggerisce il nome, scatole, mappe e schede bianche. Perché questo? Perché uno dei punti più delicati della stampa di VHS sono le dimensioni: dobbiamo assicurarci che, soprattutto dopo il molteplice materiale sbloccato dagli Stretch Goal, tutto entri comodamente all'interno della scatola e soprattutto che il materiale si integri perfettamente con il videoregistratore.
Questa richiesta potrebbe allungare di un pochino i tempi di stampa, ma sapendo come funzionano produzioni di questo tipo, preferiamo investire il più possibile sulla cura del prodotto finale, per non ritrovarci a dover affrontare spiacevoli sorprese.

[ENG] Hello everyone, guests of Resurrection Cemetery!
Here's a new update regarding the current status of production, as well as some information about the finalization of pledges and any pre-orders placed so far.
Production Status
Our printing partner has sent us the e-proofs for almost all components. What are e-proofs? They are digital print proofs that allow us to perform one final review before giving approval for production. This is a very delicate step, as we need to ensure that colors, graphics, and print settings have all been reproduced correctly. So far, no issues have emerged, and everything is moving forward smoothly.
The most delicate part will be the VCR, for which we're still waiting to receive the e-proof. Its production process is as complex as the final result will be spectacular!
In the meantime, we've also sent the Resurrection Roll, the acrylic pins, and the Uneeda Badges into production. These items are expected to arrive over the coming weeks.
Pledge and Pre-Order Finalization
On July 1st, all orders and pre-orders currently placed through BackerKit will be locked. This means you will be charged for shipping costs as well as any pre-orders and add-ons associated with your pledge.
Please note that this does not apply to backers who completed their survey before January 2026, as those orders have already been finalized.

Ecco a voi un update riguardante lo stato attuale della produzione, più a un'informazione relativa alla finalizzazione dei pledge e degli eventuali pre-ordini finora effettuati.
Stato della Produzione
Il nostro partner di stampa ci ha inviato gli e-proof di quasi tutti gli elementi. Cosa sono gli e-proof? Si tratta delle prove di impaginazione, che ci vengono inviate per poter ricevere un'ulteriore revisione da parte nostra prima di dare l'ok della stampa. Si tratta di un processo molto delicato, in quanto dobbiamo essere sicuri che i colori, le grafiche e le impostazioni di stampa siano stati rispettati. Finora non è sorto nessun problema, quindi procediamo spediti.
La parte più delicata riguarderà il VCR (di cui stiamo ancora aspettando l'e-proof) in quanto la sua lavorazione è complicata tanto quanto sarà spettacolare il suo risultato finale!
Nel frattempo abbiamo mandato in stampa anche il Resurrection Roll, le spille in acrilico e i Badge della Uneeda, i quali arriveranno nelle prossime settimane.
Finalizzazione dei pledge e dei pre-ordini
Mercoledì 1 Luglio verranno bloccati gli ordini e i preordini finora fatti su backerkit. Questo significa che riceverete l'addebito sui vostri metodi di pagamento per le spese di spedizione e gli eventuali pre-ordini e add-on. Questo non si applica a chi ha completato la survey prima di gennaio 2026, in quanto quegli ordini sono già stati finalizzati.

A couple of hours ago, we sent out the digital files for VHS: Return of the Living Dead to all backers!
As mentioned on the project page, the files were delivered through DriveThruRPG, so if you don’t already have an account, you’ll need to create one to redeem your rewards.
Are you a backer but didn’t receive the digital files?
- First, make sure you completed your BackerKit survey;
- If you completed the survey but still haven’t received your digital rewards, contact us at [email protected] and we’ll manually send you the download link.
Did you get other VHS products through this campaign but didn’t receive their digital files
- The digital rewards for the other VHS products were sent shortly after the campaign ended, so if you still haven’t received them, contact us at [email protected] and we’ll send them over.
PRINT FILES NOW IN PRODUCTION!
Just this morning, we also sent the VHS: Return of the Living Dead files to the company handling the physical production of the game. The file review phase will now begin, and that may require a few small adjustments to make sure the final product turns out exactly how we all want it to be… maybe even better.
We really hope you’ll enjoy everything we’ve prepared. Just know we poured as much heart into this project as we did brains… mostly brains.
Now all that’s left is to press Play… and start the party!

Giusto questa mattina abbiamo inviato i file di VHS: Return of the Living Dead anche all'azienda che si ocuperà di stampare il formato fisico del gioco. Ora inizierà la fase di revisione file, che potrebbe richiedere dei piccoli aggiustamenti per essere sicuri che il prodotto finale sia come tutti noi ce lo aspettiamo (e anche meglio).

Return of the Living Dead is getting closer… and Rule of Three is coming to an end!

[ENG] Hello to all of you, guests of the Resurrection Cemetery!
First of all, we want to give you an update on VHS: Return of the Living Dead.
The files are ready!
We’re just waiting for the final approval (which we hope will arrive as soon as possible), so we can send out the digital files to all of you and, at the same time, move forward with printing.
As mentioned on the campaign page, the digital files will be delivered through DriveThru.
Everything on our end has moved forward smoothly. Now it’s just a matter of getting production underway and waiting to have this load of trioxin in our hands… so we can ship it out to all of you!
And beyond that…
Only 24 hours remain before Rule of Three, the most successful VHS campaign we’ve ever run, comes to an end!
And in the meantime… every Stretch Goal has been unlocked!
Which means two things: this nightmare is now complete… and it’s about to end.
This campaign gave us the chance to explore new ways to play VHS, and with them we’ve added cards, expansions, premium dice, collectible postcards, early previews, and much more… all of it available for just a few more hours.
So we invite all of you to be part of this piece of VHS history, to expand your collection with content you won’t find anywhere else, and most of all…
Press Play one more time… and scream louder than ever!

[ITA] Salve a tutti voi, ospiti del Resurrection Cemetery!
Anzitutto, vogliamo informarvi sui lavori di VHS: Return of the Living Dead.
I file sono pronti!
Stiamo solo aspettando la conferma finale (che speriamo possa arrivare nel minor tempo possibile), così da poter inviare a tutti voi i file digitali e contestualmente, inviare i file di stampa.
E come scritto sulla pagina, i file digitali verranno inviati tramite Drivethru.
La lavorazione da parte nostra è andata avanti senza alcun intoppo! Ora non ci resta che mettere l'azienda di produzione all'opera e attendere di avere tra le mani questo carico di trioxina, così da poterlo inviare a tutti voi!
E oltre a questo...
Mancano 24 ore alla fine di Rule of Three, la campagna di VHS che finora ha raccolto più fondi in assoluto!
E nel frattempo... abbiamo sbloccato ogni Stretch Goal!
Questo significa due cose: che anche questo incubo è completo... e che sta per finire!
Questa campagna ci ha dato la possibilità di esplorare nuovi modi per giocare a VHS e, insieme a questi, abbiamo aggiunto carte, espansioni, dadi premium, cartoline collezionabili, anticipazioni e molto altro... tutto disponibile solo per poche ore.
Perciò invitiamo tutti voi a prendere parte anche a questo frammento di storia di VHS, a espandere la vostra collezione con contenuti che non troverete altrove e soprattutto...
Premere ancora una volta Play... e urlare più che mai!
