Today, we’re happy to share that production of VHS: Return of the Living Dead and all the products included in this campaign is now complete, and shipments will soon be leaving the factory for our distribution hubs!
Just yesterday, one final adjustment was made to the Contamination bases so they would perfectly match the size of the character bases. It was one of the last finishing touches before production was officially wrapped up.
Before the end of the month, we’ll also receive sample copies of the Trioxin Box and the VCR, giving us one final chance to make sure every component is exactly as it should be... and properly contaminated.
So, what happens next?

September 30: the shipments are scheduled to leave the factory. We received confirmation of this date today, and we preferred to wait until it was officially confirmed before sharing it with you.

Train shipment to Italy: transit is expected to take around 30 to 40 days. As soon as the pallets reach our warehouse, we’ll immediately begin shipping rewards to backers in Italy, Europe, and the Rest of the World.

Sea shipment to the USA: transit is expected to take around 30 to 35 days. Once the pallets reach Studio2, our distribution partners will begin shipping rewards throughout the United States and Canada.
We’d like to clarify that these are the official timelines provided to us by Uwin Games, the company handling production, and these are the dates we are using to organize the entire fulfillment process.
Production took longer than originally expected, and since June we have been following every stage closely, doing everything we could to keep things moving without compromising the final quality of the product.
We’ll continue to monitor every step of the process and will keep you updated right away if anything changes.

Quest'oggi vi informiamo non solo che la produzione di VHS: Return of the Living Dead e di tutti i prodotti di questa campagna è conclusa, ma anche che presto le spedizioni partiranno dalla fabbrica dirette ai nostri hub di distribuzione!
Proprio ieri è stato effettuato un ultimo ritocco alle basette della Contaminazione, così da adattarle perfettamente alle dimensioni di quelle dei personaggi. È stato uno degli ultimi interventi di rifinitura prima della conclusione definitiva della produzione.
Inoltre, prima della fine del mese riceveremo delle copie campione della Trioxin Box e del VCR, così da assicurarci ulteriormente che ogni componente sia perfetto (e doverosamente contaminato).
Quindi, cosa accadrà adesso?

30 settembre: data di partenza delle spedizioni dalla fabbrica. Abbiamo ricevuto conferma di questa data proprio oggi e abbiamo preferito aspettare prima di comunicarvela ufficialmente.

Spedizione via mare verso gli USA: il viaggio dovrebbe richiedere dai 30 ai 35 giorni. Una volta che i bancali raggiungeranno la sede di Studio2, i nostri partner della distribuzione inizieranno a inviare le copie negli Stati Uniti e in Canada.

Spedizione via treno verso l'Italia: il viaggio dovrebbe richiedere dai 30 ai 40 giorni. Una volta che i bancali raggiungeranno la nostra sede, inizieremo immediatamente le spedizioni verso Italia, Europa e Resto del Mondo.
Ci teniamo a specificare che queste sono le tempistiche ufficiali comunicateci dall'azienda che si è occupata della produzione, Uwin Games, e sulle quali stiamo organizzando l'intera fase di fulfillment.
La produzione ha richiesto più tempo di quanto inizialmente previsto e, da giugno a oggi, abbiamo seguito costantemente ogni fase cercando di velocizzare il processo senza compromettere la qualità finale del prodotto.
Continueremo naturalmente a monitorare ogni passaggio e vi aggiorneremo tempestivamente in caso di variazioni.
Vi ringraziamo enormemente per la pazienza e non vediamo l'ora di poter finalmente mettere VHS: Return of the Living Dead nelle vostre mani.

First of all, apologies for the delay with this update. I wanted to post it a couple of weeks ago, but I was waiting to have a clearer production schedule from the factory.
Between the miniatures, the Deluxe Box, the Stretch Goals, and especially the VCR Box, which is a particularly complex component to manufacture, the file review and pre-production stage has taken longer than expected. We also requested several adjustments as samples were prepared, to make sure the final product meets both our expectations and yours.
The good news is that the factory has now told us that production should be completed in early September, barring any unexpected issues.
After that, the products will be shipped by sea to our two fulfillment hubs:

Italy: our Aces Games warehouse will handle Italy, Europe, UK and the Rest of the World.

USA: our US warehouse will handle the United States and Canada.
I originally wanted to wait until I also had confirmed sea freight and arrival dates before posting this update. Since we haven't received them yet, however, I didn't want to wait any longer. Production is moving forward and is now close to completion. We'll share the shipping schedule as soon as we have it.
Since we submitted the print files on June 8, we didn't expect the review process to take this long, but at the same time, we hadn't fully realized just how complex all the different components of this project would be to produce.
Of Monsters and Killers 2 and The Infinite Rewind finally delivered!
In the meantime, we have also delivered Of Monsters and Killers 2 through DriveThruRPG and VHS: The Infinite Rewind, the exclusive Film for eligible returning backers.

[ITA] Salve a tutti e a tutte, ospiti del Resurrection Cemetery!
Prima di tutto, vi chiediamo scusa per il ritardo di questo aggiornamento, che avremmo voluto pubblicare già un paio di settimane fa, ma eravamo in attesa di avere tempistiche più chiare da comunicarvi.
Tra le miniature, la Deluxe Box, gli Stretch Goal e soprattutto la VCR Box, che è una componente particolarmente complessa da realizzare, la fase di revisione dei file e pre-produzione ha richiesto più tempo del previsto. Anche noi abbiamo richiesto diverse modifiche man mano che venivano preparati i sample, così da assicurarci che il prodotto finale soddisfacesse sia le nostre aspettative che le vostre.
La buona notizia è che la fabbrica ci ha comunicato che la produzione dovrebbe terminare all'inizio di settembre, salvo imprevisti, dopodiché, i prodotti verranno spediti via mare verso i nostri due centri di fulfillment:

Italia: il nostro magazzino Aces Games gestirà le spedizioni per Italia, Europa, Regno Unito e Resto del Mondo.

USA: il nostro magazzino americano gestirà le spedizioni per Stati Uniti e Canada.
Inizialmente avremmo voluto aspettare di avere anche date certe per i tempi della spedizione e quindi l'arrivo dei prodotti, prima di pubblicare questo aggiornamento. Tuttavia, non avendole ancora ricevute, non volevo aspettare oltre.
Quando abbiamo inviato i file di stampa, l'8 giugno, non ci aspettavamo che il processo di revisione richiedesse così tanto tempo, ma allo stesso tempo neanche noi avevamo compreso fino in fondo quanto sarebbe stato complesso produrre tutte le diverse componenti di questo progetto, il più ambizioso legato non solo a VHS, ma alla Aces Games.
Of Monsters and Killers 2 e The Infinite Rewind finalmente consegnati!
Nel frattempo, abbiamo anche inviato Of Monsters and Killers 2 tramite DriveThruRPG e VHS: The Infinite Rewind, la Pellicola esclusiva per i returning backer.

[ENG] Good morning, guests of Resurrection Cemetery!
The first products have officially risen from the grave and arrived at our warehouse!
We're talking about the "Leak? Hell no!" acrylic pins and the Resurrection Roll, featuring the names of everyone who helped bring this project back to life. (It may not be obvious from the photo, but it's actually printed on both sides... after all, there are quite a lot of you!)
As for mass production, we're almost done reviewing the digital print proofs for all the products. Once that's complete, we'll move on to the blank samples, which we specifically requested from the manufacturer.
So, what are blank samples?
They're fully assembled production samples printed without any artwork (just plain white boxes, maps, character sheets, and other components). Why go through this extra step? Because one of the most critical aspects of producing VHS is making sure everything fits perfectly.
With all the additional content unlocked through the Stretch Goals, we want to be absolutely certain that every component fits comfortably inside the box and, most importantly, integrates perfectly with the VCR inserts.
Requesting these samples may add a little extra time to production, but from our experience with projects like this, we'd much rather invest that time now than run into unpleasant surprises later. Our goal is to deliver the best possible final product.

I primi prodotti, freschi di sepolcro, sono arrivati nel nostro magazzino: si tratta delle spille in acrilico "Leak? Hell no!" e del Resurrection Roll, con sopra presenti tutti i nomi di voi che avete reso possibile questo progetto (anche se dalla foto potrebbe non notarsi, si tratta di una stampa fronte/retro... dopotutto siete parecchi!)
Riguardo alla produzione di massa invece, abbiamo quasi finito di ricevere le prove di stampa digitali dei prodotti, alle quali seguiranno delle "prove bianche" che abbiamo espressamente richiesto.
Cosa sono le prove bianche?
In pratica si tratta del prodotto finito ma senza colori, quindi come suggerisce il nome, scatole, mappe e schede bianche. Perché questo? Perché uno dei punti più delicati della stampa di VHS sono le dimensioni: dobbiamo assicurarci che, soprattutto dopo il molteplice materiale sbloccato dagli Stretch Goal, tutto entri comodamente all'interno della scatola e soprattutto che il materiale si integri perfettamente con il videoregistratore.
Questa richiesta potrebbe allungare di un pochino i tempi di stampa, ma sapendo come funzionano produzioni di questo tipo, preferiamo investire il più possibile sulla cura del prodotto finale, per non ritrovarci a dover affrontare spiacevoli sorprese.

Here's a new update regarding the current status of production, as well as some information about the finalization of pledges and any pre-orders placed so far.
Production Status
Our printing partner has sent us the e-proofs for almost all components. What are e-proofs? They are digital print proofs that allow us to perform one final review before giving approval for production. This is a very delicate step, as we need to ensure that colors, graphics, and print settings have all been reproduced correctly. So far, no issues have emerged, and everything is moving forward smoothly.
The most delicate part will be the VCR, for which we're still waiting to receive the e-proof. Its production process is as complex as the final result will be spectacular!
In the meantime, we've also sent the Resurrection Roll, the acrylic pins, and the Uneeda Badges into production. These items are expected to arrive over the coming weeks.
Pledge and Pre-Order Finalization
On July 1st, all orders and pre-orders currently placed through BackerKit will be locked. This means you will be charged for shipping costs as well as any pre-orders and add-ons associated with your pledge.
Please note that this does not apply to backers who completed their survey before January 2026, as those orders have already been finalized.

Ecco a voi un update riguardante lo stato attuale della produzione, più a un'informazione relativa alla finalizzazione dei pledge e degli eventuali pre-ordini finora effettuati.
Stato della Produzione
Il nostro partner di stampa ci ha inviato gli e-proof di quasi tutti gli elementi. Cosa sono gli e-proof? Si tratta delle prove di impaginazione, che ci vengono inviate per poter ricevere un'ulteriore revisione da parte nostra prima di dare l'ok della stampa. Si tratta di un processo molto delicato, in quanto dobbiamo essere sicuri che i colori, le grafiche e le impostazioni di stampa siano stati rispettati. Finora non è sorto nessun problema, quindi procediamo spediti.
La parte più delicata riguarderà il VCR (di cui stiamo ancora aspettando l'e-proof) in quanto la sua lavorazione è complicata tanto quanto sarà spettacolare il suo risultato finale!
Nel frattempo abbiamo mandato in stampa anche il Resurrection Roll, le spille in acrilico e i Badge della Uneeda, i quali arriveranno nelle prossime settimane.
Finalizzazione dei pledge e dei pre-ordini
Mercoledì 1 Luglio verranno bloccati gli ordini e i preordini finora fatti su backerkit. Questo significa che riceverete l'addebito sui vostri metodi di pagamento per le spese di spedizione e gli eventuali pre-ordini e add-on. Questo non si applica a chi ha completato la survey prima di gennaio 2026, in quanto quegli ordini sono già stati finalizzati.
