Every horror movie has a plot twist… and this one’s no different!
We saved this surprise for the final days, and now it’s time to reveal it: Tina, complete with her miniature and character sheet, is officially joining the campaign as a FREE gift for ALL backers with a physical pledge.
This isn’t a Stretch Goal or a paid add-on, it’s our way of thanking you for making this campaign such a massive success!
With Tina, the Return of the Living Dead collection is finally complete. And really, what better way to wrap things up… unless you count a ballistic missile, of course.
But is that really the end…?
Yesterday we unlocked not one, but two Stretch Goals:

Haunting Mode, a brand-new way to play as the Monster, always on the map and always hunting for fresh meat.

Brainz & Spike Pack, packed with everything you need to create brain-eater monsters inspired by Return of the Living Dead, with new Traits and unique Special Abilities.
And to top it all off, here’s the final Stretch Goal of the campaign: the Corpse Crate, a custom case designed to hold all the extra miniatures from this Kickstarter. Look familiar? Maybe like a certain box of skeletons with suspiciously perfect teeth…

[ITA] Il Party si fa assordante!
Ogni film horror ha un plot twist… e questo non fa differenza!
Abbiamo tenuto questa sorpresa per gli ultimi giorni, e ora possiamo finalmente svelarla: Tina, con la sua miniatura e la sua scheda personaggio, entra ufficialmente nella campagna come regalo per TUTTI i backers con un pledge fisico.
Non è uno Stretch Goal da sbloccare né un add-on a pagamento: è il nostro modo per ringraziarvi di aver reso questa campagna così grande!
Con Tina, la collezione di Return of the Living Dead è finalmente completa. E non poteva esserci un finale migliore… a meno che non conti un missile balistico, s’intende.
Ma è davvero finita...?

[ENG] New Stretch Goals & Add-ons!
Good morning, survivors! Your swarm through the graveyard has unlocked fresh Stretch Goals. Here’s what’s waiting for you:
The Half Lady Miniature: One of the film’s most iconic corpses now comes to life as a miniature! The original Half Lady was a complex animatronic built by William Munns and Tony Gardner’s FX team. She was designed as just a torso to make the build easier, but also creepier. With internal mechanisms that moved her eyes and mouth, she could interact with the cast. Her long hair and twisted grin were deliberate touches to amplify the clash between humanity and monstrosity, turning her into a true horror icon.
Cardboard Main Sets: Upgrade your two game maps to sturdy cardboard versions of the Main Sets of VHS: Return of the Living Dead. Tougher than a Brain-Eater’s hide!
Brain-Eater Bases: In VHS: Return of the Living Dead, Characters can turn into Brain-Eaters. When that happens (and it probably will…), you can place their miniatures into these smoke-like bases inspired by the Trioxin gas. Sure, the transformation is painful and messy… but look on the bright side: you’ll get to command other Brain-Eaters against your former teammates!
New Add-ons!
We’ve added new Add-ons to let backers of the Trioxin Leak and The Tarman pledges upgrade: Burn the Flames Film (from digital to physical), The Half Lady miniature (from STL to resin model), and the cardboard Main Sets.
You can pick them individually or grab the discounted bundle, always available among the add-ons. If you’ve already selected some of the singles but want the bundle, just make sure to remove the duplicates first.
This is the only Add-on you’ll need: once you have it, your Return of the Living Dead collection will be complete, with no extra Add-ons required.
But we’re not done yet with the Stretch Goals… check the campaign page to catch a glimpse of what’s coming next!

[ITA] Nuovi Stretch Goals e Add-ons!
Buongiorno, sopravvissuti! Il vostro sciamare nel cimitero ci ha permesso di sbloccare nuovi Stretch Goals. Eccoli qui!
La miniatura della Half Lady: uno dei morti più iconici del film, vedrà ora la sua miniatura! Curiosità: La Half Lady era un elaborato animatronico creato dal team di effetti speciali di William Munns e Tony Gardner. Non aveva il corpo intero, solo il busto, per rendere più facile la realizzazione e allo stesso tempo più disturbante l’aspetto. I meccanismi interni muovevano bocca e occhi, permettendo di farla interagire coi personaggi. I lunghi capelli e il ghigno macabro furono scelti apposta per accentuare il contrasto tra umanità e mostruosità, rendendola un’icona del film.
Set Principali in Cartoncino: Un upgrade delle due mappe del gioco ti permetterà ora di avere la versione in cartoncino dei due Set Principali di VHS: Return of the Living Dead. Più robusti della scorza di un Mangia-cervelli!
Basette dei Mangia-cervelli: In VHS: Return of the Living Dead i Personaggi possono trasformarsi in Mangia-cervelli. Quando questo accadrà (perché probabilmente accadrà...), potrai mettere le miniature all'interno di queste basette, che mimano il fumo del gas trioxina. Certo, la trasformazione è spiacevole e dolorosa, però guarda il lato positivo: potrai comandare gli altri Mangia-cervelli contro i tuoi (ex) compagni!
Nuovi Add-ons!
Abbiamo aggiunto nuovi Add-on per permettere ai Pledge "Trioxin Leak" e "The Tarman" di fare l’upgrade della Pellicola Burn the Flames (dal digitale al fisico), della miniatura della Half Lady (dallo STL al modello fisico) e delle mappe in cartoncino.
Potete acquistarli singolarmente oppure scegliere il bundle scontato, sempre disponibile tra gli add-ons. Se avete già preso uno degli add-on singoli ma volete il bundle, ricordate di rimuovere i doppioni prima di confermare.
Questo sarà l’unico add-on che vi permetterà di ottenere l’intera collezione dei prodotti di VHS: Return of the Living Dead sbloccati come Stretch Goals.
Ma gli Stretch Goals non sono ancora finiti... e nella pagina trovi già altre anticipazioni dei prossimi!

[ENG] A birthday that could only be celebrated in a graveyard!
Forty years ago, on August 16th, 1985, a film was released that would become a cult classic, nailed into horror history like a nail in a coffin.
For us, first as fans and later as creators, having the chance to pay tribute to this movie on the very day of its 40th anniversary is an honor that’s hard to put into words.
Most of all, finding so many passionate fans like you, who’ve helped make this day even more special, makes us feel like we’re in the best company we could ask for.
We’ve loved this film since we were kids (and I still remember how much the Half Lady terrified me…), and we truly hope that everything we’ve done manages to do justice to such an iconic piece of horror cinema.
So let’s raise our barrels of Trioxin and fire up the ovens at Resurrection Funeral Home!
Let’s do it for Return of the Living Dead, for everything it’s given us, and of course, wishing it another hundred years of contamination, zombies, half-dogs, and…
BRAINS!

[ITA] Un compleanno che può essere festeggiato solo in un cimitero!
40 anni fa, esattamente il 16 agosto del 1985, usciva un film destinato a diventare un cult, inciso nella storia del cinema horror come un chiodo nella bara.
E per noi, prima fan e poi autori, avere avuto l’occasione di rendergli omaggio proprio nell’anno e nel giorno del suo anniversario è un onore indescrivibile.
Ma soprattutto, aver trovato così tanti appassionati come voi, che hanno reso ancora più speciale questo giorno, ci fa sentire nella migliore compagnia possibile.
Amiamo questo film da quando eravamo piccoli (e ricordo bene la paura che mi faceva la Half Lady…) e speriamo davvero che tutto ciò che abbiamo fatto, agli occhi di altri fan come voi, riesca a rendere giustizia a un cult così importante per il cinema horror.
Quindi in alto i barili di trioxina e accendiamo i forni della Resurrection Funeral Home!
Facciamolo per Return of the Living Dead, per tutto ciò che ci ha regalato e, naturalmente, augurandogli altri cento anni di contaminazione, zombie, mezzi cani e ovviamente…
